Protego Asesores is a leading investment banking advisory firm. The Company was founded in 1996 under the leadership of Pedro Aspe. Since then, it has structured more than 100 investment banking transactions, including private placement offerings, financing of energy projects, financial restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and financing for state and local governments.

With offices in Mexico City and Monterrey, Protego is primarily focused on raising capital in national and international markets for companies and entities with high growth potential. Since its inception, the Protego team has worked hand in hand with its customers to provide comprehensive advice, building lasting relationships and continually seeking innovative solutions.

In 2003, Protego Asesores created the Discovery Americas I fund in association with Discovery Capital Management, to invest in sectors that will be key to Mexico's development.

Protego Asset Management began operations in March 2005 in response to the need to offer a specialized service free from conflicts of interest to investors in Mexico.

Protego Asset Management caters to institutional and high-net-worth investors, offering specialized investment advice and portfolio management services free from conflicts of interest.
