QUANTIFIABLE RISKS (statistical methods can be applied to estimate potential losses).

DISCRETIONARY RISKS (resulting from assuming a risk position).

  • Credit Risk: the risk that the issuers of the instruments we buy or the counterparties we interact with will fail to discharge their obligations
  • Liquidity Risk: the risk that we will not have the cash to settle our obligations when due
  • Market Risk: the risk of adverse effects on the prices of instruments we have purchased

The Risk Committee meets on a monthly basis to monitor the institution’s risk exposure and to dictate measures to be taken when warranted by the circumstances.

The Chairman of the Risk Committee is the President of the Board of Directors.
